EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Pupils can develop their personality by being given the opportunity to participate in a number of extra-curricular activities:

1. School Societies / Clubs

Handball etc)

2. School Posts
• Student Council: The Student Council consists of four 6th Form students and they are elected by the students. The candidates must have a cumulative GPA of 6.0 (out of 10), must not have had their name entered in the school penal record and must have displayed excellent conduct in the previous year. The main role of the Student Council is to communicate with and advise on matters relating to order and general discipline and also to organise various school activities such as school celebrations, charity and other events.
• Form Presidents: They are elected by the pupils of each Form. The role of the Form Presidents is to communicate with and advise the pupils of their Form on matters relating to order and compliance with school regulations as well as educational problems which might arise.
. Honorary Council: Consists of four students and a teacher who acts as the chairman of the council. The teacher member is elected by the teachers at the first teachers meeting by secret ballot. The four students are elected by the Form Presidents of each year group. The Honorary Council meets frequently to discuss issues related to discipline and student behaivor and advises to the school headmaster where necessary.

4. Social and other activities
These include excursions, dances, charity events, visits to local Universities and educational fairs and other activities.
