CURRICULUM

A system of broad education is offered in Forms 4, 5 and 6, where a great range of subjects is taught. Apart from the main subjects which are English, Mathematics and Turkish, the secondary subjects taught are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computing Studies, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Physical Education, Music, Art and Foreign Languages (French/German - the teaching begins in Form 1). The teaching of Computing also starts in Form 1.

In the 4th form pupils can take up to 4 GCE O'Levels.

Education becomes more specialised in Form 5, at which time pupils start considering their future goals by selecting one of the 2 sections offered:

. Science
. Arts

In Form 5 and 6 pupils take 7 GCE O-Levels, 1 A'level (Maths) and 5 GCE AS-Levels (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Mechanics). The subjects taken would depend on the section selected. Pupils are also prepared to take American exams such as TOEFL, SAT 1 and SAT II.
